Araceli Coronel, aka Varl, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1993. She began her musical career at the age of 16 when her mother gave her her first instrument: a guitar. Years later he began to study piano, exploring different musical genres such as jazz, rock, new metal, etc.
In 2015 she began her studies at the University, in the Audiovision career to get into the world of sound and cinema, seeking to learn how to create those nuances in her music.
In 2016 she launched herself as a DJ and months later she took her first steps in music production, samples and synthesizers, constantly seeking to renew herself in music. She takes her main influences from genres such as synthwave, EBM, industrial, rave, acid, although always faithful to strong, percussive, dense rhythms and with a great melodic load in which she mixes her musical influences with the cinematographic ones.
In 2019 she released her first EPs with the Argentine label '' Apical Records '' and then continued working with national labels such as Concept Hipnotico. Then it would make its way to international labels such as VapourTrail, Mephyst and Fluctuat Records.
She made her debut in live format in the same year, in the Cocoliche booth. Her sets vary between live and hybrid formats, with which she constantly works to incorporate elements.
She is currently a resident of the NotDolls cycle made up of women, which seeks to spread in the DJ scene. They are working with them on her record label with which she released the EP '' Feminae '' with Dunkel Dame and Paula Camani in 2020.
